PLACES IN LAGOS (?): R.S.V.P., LAGOS

Well hello there! It’s been such a long time since I did an actual review of a restaurant in Lagos. I suppose that’s what I get for deciding to be a lawyer.

So I’ve been dying to visit this restaurant for the longest time. I’d heard so many great things about the place. To be honest, what got me was their logo. If they could be that creative – and yes I know they’re just letters, allow me – what else couldn’t they do?

They’re located at 9, Eletu Agabi Street, Off Adeola Odeku, Victoria Island.

Thumbs up to their interior decorator though. I like how it seemed more like we were at a dining table than at a restaurant. I like that the walls were painted white and everything seemed so clean and minimal. I seem to love that word. MI-NI-MAL.

I got their burger – beef ‘well done’ – with their Guava mocktail. The meat was seasoned to perfection. Their bread was homemade. The lettuce didn’t seem Nigerian i.e. bitter. I really wanted to faint from the yumminess. It wasn’t too salty – I appreciated that.

Limited menu – but not everyday rice.

Their only con – onions in the burger – and this is just because I really don’t like onions.

Please go there, please go there now.
