PLACES IN LAGOS (7): SMOKEY BONES

Read about this place on the EatDrinkLagos site [click here], and we went to go check it out!

Even after reading the description of the place on the EDL site, we still weren’t prepared for what we might find. It had the dodgiest location, it was a surprise anyone actually knew where this was. We later found this to be a good thing as it was intimate, you can really have a good laugh with friends and know no-one could possibly be eavesdropping. It’s located at Fabac Close, off Liyali Ayorinde (go in and turn into the last gate on your left, you won’t miss the sign).

Here’s what we had:

Grilled chicken, mac & cheese & cornbread
Chicken wings, grilled fish and chips
Ribs, garlic bread & chips (not in the image above)

I had the ribs and it was delicious. Chips reminiscent of Mcdonalds’ fries – yum! Customer service was excellent, although it took a while for the food to arrive – it was definitely worth the wait. The mac and cheese was cold – they should really work on that.

Check it out sometime!
